Foreign media reports that China has banned the use of Apple iPhones for central gove ment officials.
After this announcement, Apple's shares fell by 3.6%.
It is said to be the biggest daily decline in a month.
Managers at Chinese gove ment agencies have reportedly notified staff of the ban through chat groups or meetings.
But foreign media reported that even before the Corona epidemic, Chinese officials have followed a written rule to drop the iPhone.
It is further seen that Chinese officials tend to use smart phones made by major domestic companies such as Huawei.
