A person has crashed into a private bus at the Aluthgama bus stand while attempting to drive off after dropping off passengers.

It happened at the Aluthgama bus stand.

It is reported that the person who was seriously injured in the accident has died after being admitted to the Seenawatte Hospital.

The deceased is a 91-year-old resident of the Ambalangoda area.

The Aluthgama Police stated that the driver of the bus involved in the accident has been arrested.
