Former Ratnapura District MP Premalal Jayasekara, who was arrested and produced before court in connection with an incident in which he allegedly threatened a person with a firearm in the Nuwara Eliya area, was released on bail by Nuwara Eliya Magistrate Pushpika Jayadasa today (22).

This is on a cash bail of Rs. 25,000 and a surety of Rs. 1 million.
