The Department of Meteorology says that showers or thundershowers are likely to occur at places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Southe , and North-Weste provinces after 2.00 pm tomorrow (25).

Issuing a statement, the department stated that some places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, and Southe provinces may experience fairly heavy rains of around 75 mm.

The statement further states that several spells of rain are likely to occur in the Uva and Easte provinces and the Polonnaruwa district.
