DGP in charge of the Road Safety Division W. P. J. Senadheera stated that it has been made mandatory to inform the OIC of the area when organizing dansals and pandals for the upcoming Poson Poya.

This was stated while participating in a media briefing held in Colombo.

He said that this action is being taken with the aim of minimizing accidents.
