The Department of Meteorology says that showers or thundershowers are likely to occur at places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-Weste provinces and in the Galle, Matara, and Mannar districts tomorrow (20) after 2.00 pm.

Issuing a statement, the department stated that some places in the Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts may experience fairly heavy rains exceeding 75 mm.

Meanwhile, foggy conditions are likely to prevail in some places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva provinces and in the Galle, Matara, and Kurunegala districts during the mo ing, the statement said.
