Japan has granted Sri Lanka a grant of US$2.6 million.

It is reported that this is for two new projects to strengthen climate resilience and gender equality.

The United Nations Development Programme announced that this money will be used for projects carried out in partnership with the Gove ment of Sri Lanka.
