Railway station masters have decided to go on an immediate strike in the near future based on several demands.

The president of the union, Sumedha Somaratne, stated that they are ready to go on an immediate industrial action within the next 24 hours or beyond.

It is reported that they have decided to go on strike based on a number of issues, including recruitment issues, promotions, etc.
