The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers may occur in most parts of the island after 2.00 pm.

Uva, Easte , Northe and North Central provinces received 50mm.

In the coastal areas of the weste and southe provinces, there will also be some rain during the mo ing.

Foggy conditions may prevail in some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces during the mo ing.

The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
