The Department of Meteorology says that today (26) there may be occasional rain in Weste , Sabaragamuwa and North-Weste provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.

The department announced that there is mainly rainless weather in the rest of the island.

In the weste slopes of the central hills, in the northe and north-central provinces, in Monaragala, Hambantota and Trincomalee districts, the winds are blowing at times per 40kmh.
