Due to the New Year season, the revenue from the expressway has exceeded 100 million rupees in the past 2 days.

Deputy Director General of the Expressway Operation, Maintenance, and Management Division R. A. De Kahatapitiya stated that 297,736 vehicles operated on the expressway on April 11 and 12.

Accordingly, a revenue of 102,378,800 rupees has been received from the expressway during that period.

He further stated that 163,541 vehicles operated on the expressway on April 11, and the revenue received from this was 54,066,450.

In addition, it is stated that 134,195 vehicles operated on the expressway on April 12th, generating revenue of Rs. 47,012,350.
