A red alert for landslides has been issued, by the National Building Research Organization.
 
Accordingly, red notices have been issued for Dehiovita and Deraniyagala Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Kegalle District.

Amber wa ing notices have also been issued for Yatianthota Divisional Secretariat in Kegalle District.
 
Also, an amber alert has been issued for the areas of Alapatha, Nivithigala, Kalwana, Aheliyagoda and Ratnapura in Ratnapura district.

Apart from this, landslide early wa ing notices have also been issued for Seethawaka Divisional Secretariat in Colombo District, Kiriella, Ayagama, Kuruvita and Pelmadulla in Ratnapura District.
