A boat carrying three sailors from Russia and France has been attacked by sharks off the coast of Australia.

The boat, which was sailing from the island state of Vanuatu to Australia, was attacked by sharks off the northeaste coast of the country.

The three were rescued after receiving an emergency wa ing message from the Australian Coast Guard while it was sinking in the sea due to sharks attacking the hull of the boat.
 
A rescue helicopter has also arrived to assist officers, and the Canberra Emergency Center has announced that the three sailors are in good health.
