The Colombo Magistrate's Court today (24) rejected the bail application of former MP Sajin Vass Gunawardena, who was remanded.

Accordingly, it is reported that the court has ordered the suspect to be further remanded until the 31st of this month.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued this order after considering the arguments presented by the Bribery Commission officials and the suspect's lawyers.
