The Meteorological Department says that the prevailing rainy conditions in the southweste parts of the island will continue due to the active southwest monsoon.

The department stated that heavy rains exceeding 100 mm may occur at some places in the Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Nuwara Eliya, and Kandy districts tomorrow (27) as well.
