The Department of Meteorology says in an announcement that there will be occasional rain or thundershowers in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Weste and Southe provinces.

It also states that there will be several rainy seasons in the Northe Province.

In the rest of the island, there will be scattered showers or thundershowers, especially in the evening or at night.
 
Occasional gusty winds around 40-50 kmh in the weste and southe coastal areas and the weste slopes of the central hills.
 
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
