A notorious criminal named 'Karandeniya Raju' who was arrested in India has been brought to the island.

This was done by a special team of the Criminal Investigation Department.

Raju, who is wanted by the police for more than 15 criminal cases, including murder, was reportedly arrested by the security forces in India recently.

He is also the brother of an organized criminal named 'Karandeniya Sudda.'
