The Department of Motor Traffic says that the issuance of standard registration number plates for new vehicles can be done from the end of May this year.

This was stated when officials of the institution were summoned to the Committee on Government Finance.

The department also stated that the procedure for obtaining a registration number plate stating the name of the vehicle owner will be implemented promptly.
