A wa ing has been issued regarding severe lightning.

This was issued by the Natural Disaster Early Wa ing Center of the Department of Meteorology.

It is reported that this wa ing will be in effect until 11.00 pm today (28).

The wa ing states that there is a possibility of severe lightning accompanied by thundershowers in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Southe , and Uva provinces and in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts.
