The Department of Meteorology says that there may be scattered showers or thunderstorms in many parts of the island today (31) after 2 pm.

In some places in Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southe and Uva provinces, The department mentioned that heavy rains of more than 75mm may occur.

It is also stated that there may be foggy conditions in some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces in the mo ing.

The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
