The trial of the judge in the case against Sri Lankan cricketer Dhanishka Gunathilaka was convened for the 2nd consecutive day today (19) before the NSW District Court in Sydney, Australia.
Gunathilaka has pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary sexual intercourse.
The girl and Gunathilaka first met at the Opera Bar, where CCTV footage showed them embracing.
It is reported that he then drank alcohol and retu ed to the woman's house via the ferry.
The woman has told the court that Gunathilaka tried to convince her not to use condoms.
But Mr. Thangaraj, the lawyer representing Gunathilaka, insisted that this is not the case.
He further stated that the main issue in the trial is Gunathilaka's state of mind as to whether or not he removed the condom without the woman's knowledge.
