US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs S. Paul Kapoor has arrived on the island.

He is on a three-day official visit.

The US Embassy in Sri Lanka has announced that he has arrived on the island with the aim of promoting trade, investment, and security cooperation.
