In relation to the 2023 World Cup, the Australian Cricket Institute has announced this year's World Cup team.

It is stated that 12 players have been selected for this team based on their performance in the World Cup.

It is special that Sri Lankan cricketer Dilshan Madhusanka has been named as one of its extraline players.

Virat Kohli has been named as the captain of the team.

Accordingly, four Indian players, three South African players, three Australian players and one New Zealand player were named for the squad.
