A fire broke out at an auto parts factory in Daejeon, South Korea, today (20).

Foreign media reported that 55 people were injured in the fire.

The fire broke out in Daejeon, about 160 kilometers south of the capital, Seoul.

The country's firefighting agency said that the number of people injured in the fire could rise.

Foreign media also reported that 24 of the injured are in serious condition.
