The Colombo Magistrate's Court has ordered the further remand of former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena, who was arrested and remanded in connection with a bribery incident.
This is until April 2nd.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued this order after considering the facts presented by the Bribery Commission officials and the suspect's lawyers.
The suspect was arrested by the Bribery Commission in connection with an incident in which he allegedly received a bribe of US $2 million when purchasing an Airbus for SriLankan Airlines in 2013.
