Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib was killed in an attack last night (17), the Israeli Defense Minister says.

Foreign media reported that the defense minister confirmed that he was killed in a series of attacks launched by Israel targeting the capital, Tehran.

However, foreign media further stated that Iran has not yet issued an official statement regarding this death.
