The second ODI between New Zealand and Sri Lanka, held at the Pallekele Inte ational Cricket Stadium, was called off today (17) due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The match, which began at 2:30 PM, saw Sri Lanka winning the toss and opting to bowl first. New Zealand managed to score 37 runs for the loss of two wickets in nine overs before rain interrupted play. Despite attempts to resume, the match was eventually abandoned.
