New Zealand cricket legend Tim Southee has announced his retirement from Test cricket following the upcoming three-match Test series against England.

Southee, who has represented New Zealand in 104 Test matches over an illustrious 17-year career, has been a co erstone of the team's bowling attack.

The former captain has claimed an impressive 385 wickets and contributed 2,185 runs with the bat.
