A US military plane used in operations against Iran has crashed.

The US military has confirmed that a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker tanker has crashed.

The US Central Command said that rescue operations are continuing after the crash in weste Iraq.

Meanwhile, the second plane involved in the incident has now landed safely.
