The Afghanistan Cricket Board has made a complaint regarding the match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
It is stated that this complaint has been submitted to the Asian Cricket Council.
Afghanistan was included in Group B of this year's Asian Cup.
They lost their first match against Bangladesh by 89 runs.
In the second match, the Sri Lankan team won the toss and set a target of 292 runs to Afghanistan.
The Afghanistan team, who batted in the first innings, had to chase that target in 37.1 overs.
But in the last minute of the match, Afghanistan could score only 290 runs for 9 wickets.
There, the Afghanistan team had announced that if one of the 3 balls over 37.1 hits a 6, they will have a chance to go to the Super Four round.
But it is said that the Afghan players on the field did not know that if they scored 295 runs in the next three balls, they could reach the Super Four round.
Accordingly, complaints have been made to punish the officials who were negligent in this matter.
Also, it is reported that the employees of the Afghanistan Cricket Board will be punished if they are found to be negligent.
